How to make almond milk in a juicer?

Making almond milk at home is a quick and straightforward process. It would help if you had a juicer, almonds, water, and a little time.

  • First, you have to take a cup full of almonds (around 170g). Make sure it is not salty. Sweet almonds will serve your purpose better. Now put them in a big bowl.
  • Then use a cup. Because you have to slowly pour 3 cups of cold & freshwater into your almonds bowl, leave it in a safe & clean place.
  • Now you have to let the almonds soak for 24 hours. At least 8-12 hours will do. That will make all the almonds soft & easy to juice.
  • While juicing, make sure this soaking process. Because if soak almonds/ soaked nuts are not appropriately soaked or remain raw, it can cause your juicer’s damage.
  • After pouring out the water, clean the almonds properly. Do it as long as the time needed to clean water runs out.
  • Now pour 3/4 more cups of water into the soaked almonds bowl. If you want to make a large quantity of almond milk, the ratio of almonds & water should be 1:3.
  • Now it is time to put them into the juicer. So, set up your juicer that has blades to chop almonds into small pieces. Don’t forget to have juice & wastage receptors adjust appropriately to avoid mess.
  • Plug in & turn on the juicer to get your cherished milk.
  • Use a spoon to ladle the almonds. Again you have to pour water into the juicer from the top. Do it carefully for safety & do it repeatedly.
  • Stop only when the juice collector container is full. Remember, your produced milk should be frivolous.

NB: if you can’t extract pulp in lack of a juicer, then you have to filtrate the milk through a cheesecloth. Pour the milk through a cheesecloth carefully. Then, take a big pot or a large bowl to collect the pulp on the top of the cheesecloth.
